Book Review: The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose
The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow. It's been a while since I've read something truly exciting. It's a short read and a page turner for me. The story is skillfully woven from two distinct perspectives: that of Adam, the husband, and Sarah, his wife. In a nutshell, the plot revolves around the murder of Adam's mistress, and him being the primary suspect. Sarah, a defense attorney, finds herself as the lawyer defending her own husband in a murder trial.
I just couldn't put this book down. The pacing allows for a smooth and effortless reading experience. By the time I was halfway through, I thought I knew who the real suspect was but I was wrong. There was a total plot twist at the end. Also, can I just say, kudos to the author's ability to keep me annoyed at Adam and his horrible mother in-law. They were both infuriating! 😂
