Jumiso's Soothing Cica and Aloe Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++ is a mineral sunscreen with centella asiatica and aloe which makes this product less irritating and compatible for those with acne prone and sensitive skin. Moreover, it's cruelty free, vegan and reef safe.

My Experience
I have a lot of thoughts about this sunscreen. When I first received this, I was so excited to use it because it has cica and aloe, two ingredients that work well on my skin. I had high expectations but I'm sad to say that it didn't meet all of the claims this sunscreen had. Before anything else, let's start with all the good things about the Super Soothing Cica & Aloe Sunscreen.

 ● This is the sunscreen for the super sensitive. This means that if you have a compromised barrier or experience stinging and you're looking for a sun protection that will not cause irritation, this sunscreen works well. Does not at all cause any irritation.

● Doesn't have any fragrance too so that's another plus.

Now let's talk about everything else outside of that scope.

● The texture of this sunscreen is creamy with a velvety semi-matte finish. However, blending was not as seamless as I expected.

● White cast is very visible on my medium skin tone. I advice building up the product by applying it in small amounts to try and avoid the white cast. Otherwise if you have same skin tone as mine, or darker, would not at all recommend this sunscreen.

● Sunscreen clings to dry patches so if you have dry or dehydrated skin, be sure to moisturize and/or hydrate properly.

● The performance of this sunscreen on my oily skin however was also not great. It turned blotchy throughout the day and felt heavy on my skin

Final verdict
I'm happy with the performance of this sunscreen on my sensitive skin and is actually gentle enough for very sensitive skin. However, the white cast is unforgivable on my medium skin tone and just feels heavy. I really want to love this sunscreen, but I think this is only compatible for those who have a fair and normal skin.
