Tiam's Hyaluronic Water Plumping Serum claims to instantly boost moisture and hydration. Aside from the hyaluronic acid as one of its key ingredients, it also has lotus extract and panthenol to prevent moisture loss from the skin. This serum restores the skin barrier and improves elasticity giving you an overall healthy glow.
Moreover, this isn't just for dry or dehydrated skin. If you have large pores, you're acne prone or you're suffering from cystic acne this serum is more than able to target those issues as well. Lastly but not the least, you'll be happy to know that this product is alcohol and fragrance free.
My Experience
I have large pores, an oily t-zone, dehydrated cheeks and I am currently dealing with cystic acne. With this current skin condition I'm experiencing, it's important to include a serum like this one in my routine. Why? Because in order for my pores to look small, it's important to always keep it hydrated especially after exfoliation. Cystic acne on the other hand, can come up when you over exfoliate. Therefore, this serum will not only hydrate my skin but also restore my skin barrier.
● One of the ways to get rid of cystic acne is to switch to a gentle skin care routine. This means, switching to gentle products. Tiam's Hyaluronic Water Plumping Serum proves to be just that. It's so gentle on my skin and I've noticed that my cystic ace flare ups have lessened ever since I started using this serum. It's also lessened the rough bumps on my skin.
● Has a gel-like texture but it's tacky. I'm not a fan of tacky products however, I feel like this is an exception because my skin's not complaining. 3 drops can be sticky, so if you're using this and don't like tacky textures, I suggest using this sparingly. Because of the gluey feeling, it does take a while for the product to completely get absorbed. I did notice though that the stickiness significantly reduces once you've applied a moisturiser.
● No fragrance, doesn't smell like anything. That only means one thing. If you're sensitive to these, then you'll love using this.
● I'm using this product along with the Tiam Pore Minimizing 21 Serum and found that they really work well together.

Final Verdict
I'm happy to say that this serum has been saving my skin. The only caveat really is the tackiness. I am, however, willing to overlook that because my skin has been slowly improving ever since I incorporated this along with Tiam's Vita B5 Toner to my routine.
