Book Review: The Traveling Cat Chronicles

“As we count up the memories from one journey, we head off on another.”

Satoru travels across Japan in order to find someone who's suited to adopt his cat, Nana. Throughout their journey, Nana shares his entire experience and encounters with Satoru's friends with us. Stories about relationship, marriage, jealousy, friendship, all detailed and told through a cats eyes. In the end, when Nana finally finds out the reason why Satoru wanted him to be adopted, my heart broke. I couldn't stop crying 😭 But let me tell you this, it was, in my opinion, still a very nice ending.

A lovely and very heartwarming read. There were some parts in the story where it would get a little boring but it managed to pick up the pace every now and then. I'm glad I stuck through 'til the end.
