Primera Lip Mask Review

Lip masks are a staple in my skin care routine. I always have dry, chapped lips so an overnight mask has always done the job of keeping my lips soft the next day. I've always been loyal to one brand for over 2 years and now it's time to try something new.

What is it?

Primera's lip mask contains seaberry, rice bran wax and murumuru butter for nourishment, moisture and to protect the lip's barrier.

My experience

✅ Has a citrus fragrance which I like.
✅ The product was thick but it didn't feel heavy nor tacky.
✅ The mask worked its magic overnight and I woke up with soft lips.
✅ I had a few cuts from my lips being so dry and I was surprised they were relieved the next day.
🆗 The product was gritty. It felt like the lip balm doubled as an exfoliator and after massaging it a few times on my lips, it melted away.

Final verdict

It's my first time to come across a lip mask with a gritty texture. It was a little uncomfortable at first and this is something that one needs to gets used to. In terms of performance which is making sure the lips are moisturized and away from the dryness, it does a pretty good job. If you're looking for a lip mask that works two ways - exfoliates & moisturizes - then this may be worth a try!
