Kocostar Camouflage Hair Mask and Rose Lip Masks Review

Disclaimer: PR from Beauty Solutions ME. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Let's first talk about the Kocostar Camouflage Hair Mask and the story behind the packaging desing. The world is in chaos and that's mostly because of our differences; whether it be in culture, race, religion, gender etc. This particular packaging design is aimed to send a message about equality. Doesn't matter what we wear, where we come from, we are all human.

I absolutely love the message behind it. I mean, if we practice self love and being kind to ourselves, we should also extend this to the people around us. It doesn't cost a thing to be kind.

Anyway, let's move on to the review of the Hair Mask

What is it?

Kocostar's hair mask is made to nourish damaged hair. It is filled with protein essence to improve hair elasticity, maintain moisture and balance pH levels. The hair mask is to be worn like a cap which prevents the hair to come in contact the air for a more intense care. It is to be worn for 10-20 minutes after shampooing and then rinsing afterwards.

My Experience

This is actually my first time to wear a hair mask. I thought the application would be complicated and messy but it was a breeze!

✅ The hair mask smelled really refreshing and relaxing too.
✅ My hair did feel softer compared to when I used a normal conditioner.
✅ I also noticed less frizz after air drying my hair.

Final Verdict

There's really not much to say about this mask and I believe effects would be more noticeable if the product is used on a regular, say weekly or twice a week. Overall, I did enjoy my experience with it and have seen instant results after the first use.

Lip Mask Review

According to Kocostar, these lip masks are great at treating your dry chapped lips. It's also best to use these before applying your lip products so your lips are moisturized, hydrated and plump.

My experience

✅ These hydrogel patches are lightweight and adheres well on the lips. Doesn't slide off.
✅ It does moisturize the lips especially when they're particularly dry and chapped.
❌ Not a fan of the rose scent. As much as I wanted to keep this mask on for longer, I just couldn't bear the overpowering rose fragrance.

Final verdict

My skin is not ok with the rose ingredient. I avoid it at all costs as I get allergic reactions from them. But because this was a review and I really wanted to share my own thought about this product, I bit the bullet and gave it a go. I was surprised that I didn't get any rashes or bumps from using this hydrogel patch. This only goes to show how extremely gentle their products are. I've also tried their hydrogel eye patches and it's one of my favorite products from them. I did a review on them here in case you wanna read it. Kocostar has other variants of their lip mask so if rose is not your thing, then the others are definitely worth trying out.
