Being a Keep Cool Ambassador (2020)

Keep Cool is one of my favorite Kbeauty brands..and so when they got in touch with me and told me they were making me their ambassador, I couldn't contain my excitement! I was absolutely grateful for the opportunity as I never thought I could be a brand ambassador, let alone for a brand I truly love.

Being an ambassador for Keep Cool was such a great experience. There were a few things I learned about being a spokesperson for a brand. One of the most important one I think is being honest about their products. I have never been dishonest about any products reviews and my closest friend can attest to that. But, there's a difference when you are given a product to review, against being one of the faces of a brand. 

There are a lot of brands that pressure their creators to say only the good things about their products even though their experience are completely different. Keep Cool on the other hand was very open to honest reviews and experiences.

Moreover, working with them was such a breeze. When I was in the process of transitioning between social media accounts, they still continued working with me and didn't mind the numbers at all. All they cared about was the authenticity of the creators.

Now as for any brand controversy, the issue of the sunscreen really hit them hard. Obviously consumers were disappointed about what happened, and I did too because I also purchased their sunscreens. I wasn't just an ambassador for them, I was also a consumer. That's how much I love their products. It was a good thing that Keep Cool was honest about the issue and even released a public announcement and apology. I guess the only mistake from their side was, they trusted a manufacturer. They gave their trust to a manufacturer who was also working with other well known brands. On a side note, I hope they start working on their sunscreen soon as they have the best formula I've tried.

Anyhow, that's everything I guess. Just sharing my experience about working for a brand and I hope to work with brands who have the same professional ethics like they have. Also, I hope to work with them again one day as they're the kindest and the chillest brand I've ever encountered!
