Review: Tiam Blackhead Out Sheet
Bye bye blackheads.

Blackheads are nasty. Don't you agree? They're so stubborn to get out and sometimes, when we do get the chance to do it, we end up puncturing our skin. Tiam on the other hand, created the Blackhead Out Sheet to help you exfoliate those sebaceous filaments and literally doing your own facial at home.
The Tiam Blackhead Sheet Out claims to melt your blackheads by simply applying the circular thin pads on the affected are for 10 minutes. Along with the product, it also includes 20 pcs of cotton swabs just for removing the blackheads and a charcoal soap to cleanse the skin.
Notable ingredients of the pads include BHA to exfoliate the skin, soapberry extracts to soften the sebaceous filaments and a few botanical extracts such as witch hazel, mistletoe extract, sage, and more to sooth and tighten the skin.

My Experience
Because I have sensitive skin, I only get to use this product once a week. I've only used this 3 times in the past 3 weeks so there's not much that I can say.
● First, I wanna address the size of the pad. It's a thin circular pad that's meant to be mostly use on the nose, however, it isn't wide enough as it doesn't cover the sides of my nose as much as I would like to. Instead of using one pad, I end up using two pads for better surface area coverage hehe.
● The product contains cotton swabs but I don't use it as I don't want to force out the sebaceous filaments. Instead, once I'm done with the pads, I use it like a toner and give the rest of my skin a quick swipe.
● If you experience sensitivity, please patch test on your skin first. I applied this on my skin one time and it stung and burned so much ☹︎ I had to remove and wash my face immediately. I think this may be because some of the botanical extracts it has. Otherwise, if you think your skin is fine, then this is completely okay to use. The first two times I used this, I didn't experience any irritation.
● Almost forgot to mention that the pad has a small slit if you see the image below. This is to simply make sure that you'll be able to place the pad conveniently on your nose.
Final Verdict
As I mentioned, I have not used this long enough to give evidence that this is truly effective. I do have to note one thing. So far, I have not experienced a build up of sebaceous filaments nor blocked pores in the 2 times I've used it.
