Review: Heimish Matcha Calming Line for Acne Prone Skin

Matcha Biome Amino Acne Cleansing Foam
What is it?
A mild foaming cleanser formulated for sensitive and acne prone skin. According to the brand, it contains antioxidants, amino acids and probiotics from matcha, all working together to eliminate impurities and the overproduction of sebum on the skin. Moreover, it's great at targeting hormonal acne too. Can be used on the face and body.
My experience
(skin type: oily, combination, sensitive, acne prone)
Majority of foaming cleansers have a bad rep for stripping away the skin's natural oils and leaving you with a tight and dry skin. But not with this one. I had a delightful experience - and still having one - with this cleanser. A pea sized amount is all you need to cleanse your face. Once it is dispensed and mixed with a little bit of water, it creates a beautiful foam.
✅ A bean sized amount is enough to create a foaming texture. It lathers extremely well and you'll feel that the cleanser is doing what it's supposed to do.
✅ Has a light fragrance which doesn't linger. This is perfect for those who have sensitive skin or those who prefer using a cleanser that doesn't have a strong scent.
✅ Doesn't strip off the skin dry. Once you've rinsed out the product, you'll be left with a silky residue on your skin. And no, it doesn't feel soapy at all. I wash my face for at least a minute with this product and it's always left me with a soft feeling afterwards.
✅ Calms my hormonal acne and doesn't give me redness after washing my face.
Overall a great cleanser to add to your skin care stash. Highly recommend if you experience hormonal acne or if you're simply looking for a gentle cleanser for your skin.

Matcha Biome Hydrogel Eye Patch
What is it?
These hydrogel patches are made from the gel extracted from seaweed, hence making the product eco-friendly and vegan too. It aims to soothe the under eye area, provide anti-aging care and improve fine lines. Best to use fresh out of the fridge 😉 Its main ingredients contain matcha biome, naicainamide, licorice root and green tea.
My experience
This was love at first use. I used this one morning when I woke up with puffy and dark circles under my eye. Here are the instant results right after applying the hydrogel patches for about 25 minutes:
✅ Relieved the puffiness and lightened my dark circles
✅ Brighter under eyes too. A great way to prep the skin in the area before make up 👌🏼
✅ The essence was the best part! As I applied the patches, it couldn't be helped that a part of it was on top of my pores. Once I'd spread the essence on my pore area, it improved the appearance by making it look smaller. It's also added so much hydration
✅ Pop it into the fridge for a few minutes before using it and enjoy the added experience of the cooling and soothing sensation of the hydrogel patch.
By far my favorite product from the matcha line. I am in love. I don't remember enjoying an eye patch as much as I've enjoyed this one. Highly recommend especially if you have dry skin too. My friend with super dry under eyes enjoy using this at night as well.
