Tiam Vita B3 Source Serum Review

Tiam global vita b3 source serum niacinamide

Disclaimer: PR from Style Korean as part of the Try Me Review Me program. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What is it?

A mix of niacinamide (10%) and alpha arbutin that corrects uneven skin tone, helps fight dark spots and regulate sebum production. This is to be used after toning, night and/or day followed by a sunscreen.

My Experience

This is the 2nd time I'm getting a hold of this product and spoiler alert: still the best niacinamide serum so far for me.

✅ Visibly reduces hyperpigmentation.
✅ No pilling. I've never experienced any pilling during the whole duration of use. Note that this may also be due to the fact that I only use 3 drops which is enough to cover my entire face.
✅  Calms my sensitive skin.
✅ No noticeable fragrance. If I compare this with The Ordinary's Niacinamide + Zinc, TO smells like liquid glue.
🆗 A little tacky but manageable.
💬 Additional thoughts: If I compare this with The Inkey List and The Ordinary's niacinamides, Tiam's version is slightly less tacky than both the former products; this is mainly because the viscosity is lighter. Also, I think I just have to accept the fact that maybe all niacinamides are tacky - it just depends what ingredients are mixed with it to lessen the stickiness.

Final Verdict

If you want an all in one serum that targets pigmentation, uneven skin and acne scars, this is definitely worth a try.
