Cosrx One Step Moisture Up Pad Review

What is it?

A moisturizing pad to hydrate and smooth skin. Its main ingredients include propolis extract, a naturally-occurring anti-septic that helps to effectively treat blemishes, acne and redness. It also has Hyaluronic acid to provide long lasting moisture on the skin making this perfect for those who have sensitive and dry skin. Moreover, the pads have a softly embossed texture that gently exfoliates your skin to keep it soft and supple before your makeup application.

My Experience

To be honest, when I received this from Chicsta, I was so excited to use it, that I forgot to read more about the product. To cut it short, because I have oily skin, this didn't work out for me as it's made for those who deal with dry skin.

After using the pads, I felt like there was a very thin film of oil left on my skin which took a long time to dry up. Knowing how sensitive my skin can get, I decided not to finish off my night routine with a night cream as the essence from the pad itself already felt heavy. The next day, just as I expected, I developed a rash on my cheek and that prompted me to stop using the product all at once.

On the good note though, I love how the pads aren't heavily scented and the convenience it offers when traveling.

Obviously, I wouldn't recommend this for the oily skinned gals like me, but if you have dry skin, I wouldn't stop you from trying it out. In fact, a few of my friends who use this, loves this! P.S, my friend already called dibs on these pads after she found out it didn't work for me. hahaha.

Final Verdict

I love Cosrx! It's one of my favorite brands! So if you have dry skin, this may be worth checking out. Note that skin care is personal and what may not work for me, may work for you and vice versa. Also, the moral of this review is, always read and patch test before using a product! Hahaha.
