Pixi Glow Tonic Review
Let's be honest here, the product is quite expensive. Even the travel size is a little expensive for me. But I wanted to give it a try and see if it is indeed true to its claims. When I saw that the 40ml just costs 5$ at Target, I decided to give it a go.
Main Ingredients: ginseng to improve circulation and energize the skin; 5% glycolic acid to exfoliate dead skin, aloe vera to soothe and hydrate and fructose and sucrose to brighten up the skin. It's alcohol free and paraben free.
Claims: It is supposed to refine the appearance of pores; gently accelerate cell renewal to reveal brighter glowing complexion; balances, heals and soothes for radiant, healthier looking skin.
My Experience
✅ The toner gave off an herbal fragrance and this is most probably from the ginseng which I actually like.
✅ No prickly or stinging sensation. It's so gentle on the skin that I actually use this every night.
✅ I saw results in just 3 weeks. I noticed that my dark spots had faded much faster than before. Acne that was just starting to show up, disappeared even before it matured. The texture of my skin had evened out and I also saw a brightening effect.
With all the positive outcome I saw, I still have to say that the tonic water played a huge role at making all the other skin care products I'm using, work to its full potential.
Final Verdict
Overall I really enjoyed my experience with the Pixi Glow Tonic. However, I have not repurchased it yet as I'm currently trying out another glycolic toner which essentially does the same thing!
