PURITO Centella Green Level Unscented Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA ++++

Before I go on with the review, allow me to properly introduce Purito. They are a Korean skin care brand that focuses on quality ingredients and best of all, the environment. If you're someone who is very conscious about ingredients, animal testing/cruelty and the environment, then you'll be pleased to read Purito's philosophy below:

• Ingredients: They only use 100% EWG Green Level certified ingredients. This means that they don't use or add hamrful chemical ingredients to their products and all of them are natural.
• Cruelty-free: Purito is firmly against animal testing and works in a 100% cruelty-free environment. They also donate a portion of their profits to Best Friend Animal Society.
• Environment friendly: Excessive packaging is avoided! Instead, they use their resources to focus on in-depth research to make their products better. They use recycled paper packaging and donate their a portion of their profits to Korean Federation For Environmental Movement.

There's a huge number of Korean beauty brands that focuses on clean beauty and cruelty free products. But what makes Purito special is the fact they they are so much more affordable than most brands yet they work wonders!

Now let's go through Purito's newly lunched unscented sunscreen.

1. No fragrance: This is one of their strong selling points. Considering that this is a sunscreen, I expected a slight tinge of that usual sunscreen fragrance. But this one exceeded my expectations! It has no lingering scent, whatsoever. So if you're a fan of unscented skin care products, this is a must in your stash!

2. No essential oils: Most often that not, this is the reason why majority of our skin care products smell good. However, sometimes, it's also the main reason why those with sensitive skin can get bad reactions from their skincare. It's great that Purito removed this from their sunscreen making it possible for everyone to use it!

3. No harmful chemicals: Purito uses only EWG Green Level Grade 1 and 2 components which does not cause any eye or skin irritation.

4. No stickiness and no white cast: A sticky sunscreen and the white cast effect that comes afterwards usually comes with sunscreen; but not with Purito's sunscreen. All the more reason why I'm going to keep repurchasing this. heheh.

5. Uses SPF 50+ PA ++++ :If incase you don't know what PA++++ means, it is used to measure the level of protection from UVA rays. So a PA+ for example, will give you some protection. Therefore a grade of PA++++ will give you the best protection against harmful UVA rays. However, the latter grade is rare and can only be found in some countries and new products. So glad that Purito has them already!

My Experience

I'm not going to lie. It was a love at first use. The sunscreen has a creamy texture that you'd think would be too heavy once applied but it's not. It actually sets really nice on my skin and absorbs quite quickly. But really, the best part is the fact that it's unscented. While I still use scented products, I make sure that they're mild or it has no scent at all. Plus points if I don't smell anything at all! So when I first used this I was super impressed. It really exceeded my expectations.

Will I repurchase this? I think I mentioned that I would and this will probably be one of my HG products!
