Book Review: Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

The book that would get me out of a reading slump.

The story is told by the characters' points of views - Miles and Tate.

Miles has not been in a relationship for a total of 6 years after experiencing a tragic moment in his life. Tate on the other hand is going to be THE girl who's going to change all that. Miles isn't ready for a commitment, not now, not ever and Tate, she's fine being the f**ck buddy. That was their arrangement. But we all know what happens to these kinds of set up right? Eventually the girl falls for the guy, and while the guy's feelings are as clear as day, he just can't commit.

Not gonna lie, therapy would have helped. That was one loop hole in the story BUT did I enjoy the story? Yes, yes I did. It was heartbreaking. If I was in Miles' shoes, I'd shut the world and blame myself too. On the bright side and if I were being completely honest, there were also a lot of steamy moments between Miles and Tate.

Ugly love, yes, very ugly in the beginning but I'm glad the ending was just how I wanted it to be.
