This Is The Best Sanitary Pad Available in The UAE
Let's talk menstruation and everything that revolves around menstruation because it's 2022 and the stigma around periods should stop. Seriously. It's a natural bodily function. No more taboos. Let's get rid of these freaking stigmas because these kinds of mindsets are serving no one.
Anywayyyy... About the best sanitary pad. You see, I've tried everything in the market. Well, maybe not everything but most of it. Kotex, always, carrefour brand, modess, whisper, anion, lil let's, private, fam, charmee, etc. Not sure if I mentioned all of it but those are the ones on top of my head.
Now, before I share my opinion on this, please know that our bodies are different. And what might be best for me, isn't the best for you. So please do keep that in mind.
Last month, I decided to try the brand Nana. This was the one I tried first ⬇️
If I'm being honest, it was love at first use for me and I actually wanted to share my experience with you all right away. However, I started using this towards the end of my period so I decided to wait for my next cycle and use it through my heavy days. That way, I can completely guarantee that this product wasn't just a hallucination 😅
The next period comes and I'm never buying any other brand of sanitary pad ever again. I wore it at night and woke up the next morning with no leaks! Also, absorbency and the dry feeling is incredible!! If I was using any other pad, I would have leaked through my thighs already. I know, TMI, but let's get real! We've all experienced it, right? 😫
Now don't get fooled by the "Maxi Thick" description because it really isn't. Have you ever tried the maxi thick pads from kotex? If you have, then this is a little less thinner than that. The thickness is just right and doesn't feel like you're wearing a whole block of cotton in your underwear 😂
During the day I use this ⬇️
You all know how you have to change your pads every 4-6 hours right? Well, even though this pad is for regular flow, I actually use this during my heavy flow days.
Pro tip: if you have a heavy flow, it's better to use regular flow pads, so you can change every 4 hours. Using a longer pad will make you think it's okay to wait 'till the 6th hour and that's actually bad. Menstruation blood is a very rich culture (words from my Doctor) and using a pad for that long cultivates bad bacteria. And bad bacteria can give you nasty infections. You don't want that.
If you still prefer to wear longer pads, then do so, as long as you change frequently because your health matters ♥︎
These pads performs just the same as the night pads. Absorbency and the dry feeling is top notch 👌🏼
So that's it. I hope this post helped. I asked the question on Instagram and was stunned by the number of people who wanted to know the brand! If ever you try this out, let me know what you think!!
