Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Barrier Cream Review

Ever since I heard of Pyunkang Yul, it has been on my list of brands to try. Most of the products in their line are mild and are formulated for those who have sensitive skin. So when I got my hands on their moisture barrier cream, I was ecstatic. I had such high hopes for the product and I'm glad that it didn't disappoint!

What is it?

A moisturizer that's made for sensitive and irritated skin. Notable ingredients include 

centella asiatica, tea tree extract, honeysuckle extract, ceramides, panthenol, 5 hyaluronic acids, squalene and shea butter. All these work together to strengthen the skin barrier, and boost moisture and hydration to bring you an overall healthier skin.

My experience

I have to say, this was a love at first use. Seeing as this is a cream for the skin barrier, when I first tried it, I only used it during the night as I thought it would be heavy for use during the day. But the texture of the product felt more like a gel cream consistency making this a great option to use both during the day and night. Here's the rest of my experience from the product. 

✅ Gentle. There was a slight cooling effect upon application and it instantly gave a calming and soothing feeling on the skin.

✅ Lightweight. As mentioned it has a gel cream consistency. It's not too heavy nor too light which makes it the perfect moisturizer to end your routine.

✅ No noticeable scent which was amazing considering the fact that this contains a couple of essential oils.

✅ Leaves the skin hydrated and plump even until the next morning.
✅ Absorbs well on the skin with no tacky residue.
✅ It lessened the redness on my skin.
✅ A great moisturizer for oily skin.

Final verdict
